Each piece will be truly unique due to the nature of the wood. Grain patterns, notches, knots, cracks are all common and unique to each piece of wood and cannot be controlled. Please expect some variations. This is the genuine beauty of natural wood!
Ready to hang right out of the box! Each sign comes with a hook on the back to hang and felt bumpers. You just need a nail and somewhere to hang it!
All boards have a satin sheen from the protective coating that is applied. This makes them water and uv resistant. Signs may hang outside under protection (ie a porch, front door, etc) but should not be hung in direct contact with the elements or in direct heat/sun. Back of signs are sealed but not painted.
Colors!
Stains will show more of the grain and texture of the wood. While paint will be more solid and show less of the grain. You will still see some of the grain and texture through the paint, but it will not show as much as the stain will.
When choosing colors keep in mind that you want as much contrast between your background and design colors. For example a dark color will not show up very well on a medium or dark color background.
Please pay attention to your choices. I am not responsible for the color choices you choose.
White looks great on almost all background colors (with the exception of the white and off-white background choices). Bright or colored choices will look best on white or off-white backgrounds.
Please note that stain and color options will vary slightly in person due to differences in computer monitors and lightning.
